Malachi Provenzano
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Malachi began studying the violin at age 4. He was formerly a student of Sharan Leventhal at the Boston Conservatory of Music, where he earned his Bachelor's in Violin Performance. He has also studied at Boston University for his Master's in Violin Performance with Professor Bayla Keyes. Malachi is driven and curious to explore all genres and styles of music. Aside from the more traditional classical training that has been his focus, he has spent a great deal of time playing and learning from different folk traditions. Malachi has performed with multiple regional orchestras and chamber groups throughout New England and the tri-state area. He was also strongly impacted by the many teachers he studied with, and it is his dream to be that positive influence for his own students and others, spreading joy through the love of music! He is currently on the violin faculty at the Bloomingdale School of Music and Greenwich House Music School in New York City.
